| Resumo |
RESUMO
Essa dissertação de mestrado busca analisar a forma como o Rio Guamá e seus espaços heterotópicos desenvolvem formas de olhar e construir a cidade de Belém a partir do contato que a cidade possui com seus rios. Dessa forma, tomamos como objetivos específicos desta produção: i) Explicar, a partir de Foucault, que deduzimos que o rio, ao se fragmentar em ‘furos’, pode ser considerado uma heterotopia de passagem; ii) Compreender como se materializa a relação de Saber-Poder entre os moradores da ilha do Combu e os sujeitos que frequentam a ilha a partir do que é dito e do que se silencia sobre essa relação na web; iii) Compilar e analisar, em temáticas recorrentes e dispersas, o que se faz impresso nas paredes das casas que foram contempladas pelo projeto Street River; iv) Analisar as relações de saber e poder em repetição e dispersão a partir das materialidades artísticas – produzidas pelo outro – inscritas nas fachadas das casas. Com tal norteamento, esta pesquisa utiliza o método arqueogenealógico estudados por Gregolin & Neves (2021) para poder enxergar como a relação de Saber-Poder se mobiliza para construir a ilha do Combu a partir do furo que dá nome à ilha e do furo da paciência: por um lado, para os sujeitos de passagem do turismo e grafite; por outro, para os sujeitos moradores desses espaços. Nosso referencial teórico se pauta nos pressupostos teóricos de Michel Foucault para pensar os conceitos de Saber(2020)-Poder(2021) e Discurso(2014), alinhados às noções de Dispositivo colonial pensado por Gregolin & Neves (2021) e outros pesquisadores do GEDAI-UFPA; aliados à mobilização de conceitos iniciais, discutiremos ainda acerca da noção de Heterotopia(2006), interrelacionando a proposição de espaço/lugar desenvolvida por Michel de Certeau (2008); e, a partir de Santos (2006) e Haesbaert (2007), mobilizamos duas noções: Território e Multiterritorialidades. Por fim, nosso gesto de análise se consolida em movimentos que buscam olhar e construir a cidade de Belém costurada numa relação intrínseca entre continente e ilha, focalizando a descrição heterotópica da região insular e analisando os elementos que compõem esse espaço citadino: o turismo e a presença do projeto Street River.

ABSTRACT
This master’s thesis looks at how the Guamá River and its heterotopic spaces shape residents’ ways of seeing and building Brazil’s Bethlehem as an outcome of the city’s relationship with its waterways. The specific objectives of this production are as follows: i) To explain how, using Foucault’s theory, we assume that the river, through its fragmentation into ‘holes’, can be regarded as a heterotopic passageway; ii) To comprehend the manifestation of the Knowledge-Power relationship between the inhabitants of Combu island and the visitors to the island, as revealed through the discourse and silence surrounding this relationship on the internet; iii) To compile and scrutinize the recurring and dispersed themes inscribed on the walls of the houses included in the Street River project; iv) To analyze the repetition and dispersion of the relations between knowledge and power, as evidenced by the artistic materialities – produced by the other – and inscribed on the façades of the houses. The present study employs the archeogenealogical method proposed by Gregolin and Neves (2021) to investigate the utilization of the Knowledge-Power nexus in the construction of Combu Island, specifically in relation to the hole that lends the island its name and the hole of patience, mobilized among the subjects of tourism and graffiti, as well as those who inhabit these spaces. Our theoretical framework stems from Michel Foucault’s theoretical postulations on the notions of Knowledge (2020), Power (2021), and Discourse (2014). This framework aligns with the principles of the Colonial Device, as posited by Gregolin and Neves (2021), and other scholars at GEDAIUFPA. We will also address the concept of Heterotopia (2006), which is related to Michel de Certeau’s (2008) proposition of space/place, as well as the concepts of territory and multiterritoriality, which come from Santos (2006) and Haesbaert (2007), respectively. Finally, our symbolic analysis is consolidated in movements that aim to see and build the CityBethlehem as having an innate relationship between the mainland and the island, with a particular emphasis on the heterotopic description of the insular region and an examination of the components that comprise this urban space, including the presence of tourism and the Street River project.
