Resumo: Esta pesquisa propõe a investigação da concepção de linguagem da e na filosofia do Círculo
de Bakhtin a partir das obras Marxismo e Filosofia da Linguagem (2017), de Volóchinov; O
Método Formal nos Estudos Literários (2012), de Medviédev; e Estética da Criação Verbal
(2011), de Mikhail Bakhtin, por meio da identificação e análise de concepções da teoria
bakhtiniana que advêm de outras linguagens (por exemplo, da música e das artes plásticas), as
quais contribuem para a formulação e delimitação conceitual dos autores russos. O objetivo é
compreender de que modo Bakhtin, Medviédev e Volóchinov delimitam, em sua filosofia, a
noção de linguagem, como ela é constituída pelas dimensões verbivocovisuais, assim e
denominadas por nós extemporaneamente nesta proposta a partir da Poesia Concreta, e como
essas dimensões podem se materializar em enunciados de diferentes gêneros, a depender da
configuração arquitetônica do projeto de dizer em voga. Para isso, metodologicamente, este
trabalho se volta à concepção de linguagem, de enunciado, sujeito e diálogo; bem como se
atenta aos momentos em que os autores se centram nas dimensões verbivocovisuais nos livros
supramencionados, o que caracteriza a proposta como bibliográfica e de cunho teóricoanalítico. Ademais, procura-se também situar a proposta filosófica do Círculo em seu
contexto de produção, circulação e recepção na Rússia soviética e posteriormente no
Ocidente, bem como da noção de linguagem historicamente, de modo a contribuir para a
compreensão do conceito formulado pelo Círculo “Bakhtin Medviédev Volóchinov”
(VAUTHIER, 2010) e para a forma como o fazem. A pertinência da pesquisa consiste em
refletir a abordagem filosófica bakhtiniana e ampliar as possibilidades de fundamentação
teórica para análises de enunciados que concretizam, em potências variadas, as dimensões
verbivocovisuais da linguagem. Desse modo, portanto, nosso trabalho contribui para o
conjunto de pesquisas bakhtinianas, em especial as voltadas para o tema da
verbivocovisualidade, ao elucidar como concepção de linguagem se constitui dialogicamente
de forma tridimensional ao passo que possibilita ampliar o campo de entendimento e de
aplicação dos constructos bakhtinianos desde o seu ponto de partida, reinterpretando-os.

Abstract: This project propose to investigate the conception of language in the Bakhtin’s Circle
philosophy of language from the books Marxism and The Philosophy of Language (2017), by
Volochínov The Formal Method in Literary Scholarship (2012), by Medviédev, and
Aesthetics of Verbal Art (2011), by Mikhail Bakhtin, through the identification and analyse of
conceptions of bakhtinian theory which come from other languages (for example, like music
and plastic arts), which contribute to the formulation and conceptual delimitation of Russian
authors. The aim is to understand how Bakhtin, Medviédev and Volóchionov delimit, in their
philosophy, the notion of language, how it is constituted by the verbivocovisuals dimensions,
named by us extemporaneously in this proposal from Concrete Poetry, and how these
dimensions can materialize in utterances of different genres, under architectural configuration
of the project of speech. For this, methodologically, this work turns to the conception of
language and of utterance, as well as it considers the moments that the authors focus on the
verbivocovisuals dimensions in the books above-mentioned, which characterizes the
bibliographical and theoretical-analytical proposal. In addition, it seeks to situate the Circle's
philosophical proposal in its context of production, circulation and reception in Soviet Russia
and later in the West, as well as the notion of language historically, in order to contribute to
the understanding of the concept formulated by the “Bakhtin Medviédev Volóchinov” Circle
(VAUTHIER, 2010) and the way they do it. The relevance of the proposal is to think about
the approach bakhtinian philosophical thought and to expand the possibilities of theoretical
foundation for the analysis of utterances that concretizes, in various intensity, the
verbivocovisuals dimensions of language. In this way, therefore, our work contributes to the
set of Bakhtinian researches, especially those focused on the subject of verbivocovisuality, by
elucidating how language conception is dialogically constituted in a three-dimensional way,
while allowing to expand the field of understanding and application of Bakhtinian constructs
from their starting point, reinterpreting them.
