| Resumo |
The discursive dimension of language can be understood from the analysis of verb-visual materiality. Through the combination of word and image, it creates meaning effects that absorb and reflect the historical burden of an era. When we observe the knots between the discursive materialities, it is possible to understand how meaning circulates in a society. This dissertation deals with the relationship between discourse and image through the visual canon transformation in digital media. Theoretically, we seek to understand the need for articulation of semiotic theories with discourse theory. This is due to the verb-visual nature of the corpus selected to this dissertation: the reinterpretation of pictorial art. Analytically, we seek to demonstrate the established relationships between discourse and image from the memory of art that integrates the utterances aired by the Spanish site Consumehastamorir.org. As a result of these challenges, we intend to clarify an area of dialogue between fields of knowledge that focus on different discursive materialities, as well as understanding the role that digital media plays in the circulation of discourses related to the arts. A dimensão discursiva da linguagem pode ser compreendida a partir da análise da materialidade verbo-visual. Por meio da combinação entre verbo e imagem, criam-se efeitos de sentido que absorvem e refletem a carga histórica de uma época. Ao observar os nós entre as materialidades discursivas, é possível compreender como os sentidos circulam em uma sociedade. Esta tese trata das relações entre discurso e imagem por meio das transformações do cânone visual nas mídias digitais. Teoricamente, busca-se compreender a necessidade de articulação de teorias semiológicas com a teoria discursiva. Isso se dá em função da natureza verbo-visual do objeto de análise desta tese: as ressignificações da arte pictórica. Analiticamente, busca-se demonstrar as relações que se estabelecem entre discurso e imagem a partir do funcionamento da memória de arte que integra os enunciados veiculados pelo site espanhol Consumehastamorir.org. Como resultado desses questionamentos, pretende-se explicitar um terreno de diálogo entre campos do saber que se debruçam sobre diversas materialidades discursivas, bem como compreender o papel que as mídias digitais desempenham na circulação de discursos relacionados às artes plásticas.
