Resumo: O presente estudo visa analisar as personagens femininas nos romances contemporâneos da Literatura Espanhola Mujeres que caminan sobre hielo, de Gloria Ruiz e La sonata del silencio, de Paloma Sánchez-Garnica, publicados em 2014. Esta investigação é relevante pelo seu valor testemunhal e por seu historicismo, ao estudar mulheres e literatura, com ênfase no olhar feminino, tanto das autoras, quanto das personagens, tendo como contexto o sombrio período posterior à Guerra Civil Espanhola. Consideramos nesta tese a proposta metodológica de Elaine Showalter, com o apoio de Virginia Woolf e de Simone de Beauvoir, entre outras autoras. Para esclarecer sobre a repressão na sociedade patriarcal, fascista e nacional-católica do primeiro franquismo (1939-1959), representada nos romances, dialogamos com a Literatura e a História da Espanha e observamos a conjuntura social e histórica de sua produção, um enquadramento que tem relação com a autoria feminina e com o contexto criado nas obras. As temáticas são analisadas de acordo com Showalter, em diálogo com teóricas do feminismo, que denunciam, dentro e fora de casa, os mecanismos de opressão e coerção das mulheres no sistema patriarcal franquista. Podemos concluir que as obras estudadas captam e denunciam a repressão reinante contra a mulher durante o franquismo. Há personagens femininas que aceitam a submissão, fato que denuncia a realidade de muitas mulheres, dependentes do pai ou do marido, em sua sociedade. Por outro lado, aquelas que tomam consciência disso e tentam resistir, como as protagonistas, representam a busca da liberdade, procurando exercer uma voz de resistência dentro da ditadura.

Abstract: The present study aims to analyze the female characters in the Contemporary Spanish Literature Novels called Mujeres que caminan sobre hielo, by Gloria Ruiz and La sonata del silencio, by Paloma Sánchez-Garnica, books published in 2014. This investigation is relevant for its testimonial value and for its historicism, when studied women and literature with the focus on the feminine point of view, both of the authors, as of the characters, having as context the somber period after the Spanish Civil War. We consider in this thesis the methodological proposal of Elaine Showalter, with the support of Virginia Woolf and Simone de Beauvoir, among other authors. To clarify the repression in the patriarchal, fascist and national Catholic society of the first Francoism (1939-1959), represented in the novels, we dialogue with the Literature and History of Spain and observe the social and historical conjuncture of its production, a structure that is related to the female authorship and to the context created in literary works. The themes are analyzed according to Showalter, in dialogue with feminist theorists, who denounces, inside and outside home, the mechanisms of oppression and coercion of women in the Francoist patriarchal system. We can conclude that the studied works capture and denounce the repression that prevailed against women during Francoism. There are female characters who accept submission, a fact that denounces the reality of many women, dependent on the father or husband, in their society. On the other hand, those who become aware of this and try to resist, like the protagonists, represent the search for freedom, seeking to exercise a voice of resistance within the dictatorship.
