| Resumo |
O projeto tem como objetivo analisar as características arquetípicas e mitológicas presentes nas personagens Rhiannon, Arianrhod e Blodeuwedd, encontradas no conjunto de lendas galesas chamadas O Mabinogion. Essas lendas apresentam diversas evidências de pertencerem a uma tradição oral do folclore pré-cristão dos povos celtas que ali habitavam. A análise será feita tanto dentro do conjunto simbólico particular à cultura celta quanto através do estudo do arquétipo, a partir de uma perspectiva junguiana desenvolvida por Erich Neumann em A Grande Mãe. Buscaremos demonstrar a relevância do resgate de figuras femininas pertencentes às mitologias fundadoras para o conceito de sagrado feminino, pois a relação entre a mulher e a espiritualidade sofreu grande repressão desde o declínio do paganismo e a ascensão de uma ordem cultural crescentemente patriarcal. Discutiremos sua importância para o movimento feminista, que tem como uma de suas buscas o redescobrimento dos mitos e histórias em que a mulher tem papel de destaque e que procura repensar a construção de identidades femininas; e também para o resgate da relevância histórica e cultural da mitologias ora referida, da qual podemos ver reflexos até hoje, apesar das tentativas de modificação e mascaramento visando o menosprezo da figura feminina.

ABSTRACT
This project aims to analyze the archetypal and mythological characteristics found in Rhiannon, Aranrhod and Blodeuwedd, characters from a group of Welsh legends known as The Mabinogion. These legends present several evidences of belonging to an oral tradition originated in the pre-christian folklore of the celtic people that inhabited that area. The analysis will consider both the set of symbols particular to celtic culture as the archetype studies from a junguian perspective developed by Erich Neumann in The Great Mother. We will seek to demonstrate the relevance of rescuing female figures belonging to the founding mythologies in the context of the concept of sacred feminine, for the relation between women and spirituality has suffered great repression since the decline of paganism and the rise of an increasingly patriarchal cultural order. We will discuss its importance to the feminist movement, which has been seeking, among other things, the rediscovering of myths and stories in which women have a prominent role and has been searching ways to rethink the construction of feminine identity; and also to rescue the historical and cultural importance of the referred mythologie, the reflections of which can be seen today still, despite attempts of modifications and masking that seek to undermine the female figure.
