RESUMO
O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar três contos na obra Racconti fantastici, de 1869, do italiano Igino Ugo Tarchetti: I fatali, Un osso di morto e Uno spirito in un lampone. Esta escolha se justifica por se tratar de contos importantes na produção literária do autor, nos quais se identificam elementos do fantástico em seus textos – o além-mundo, o estranho e o duplo, por exemplo –, fundamentais para se considerar Tarchetti um autor pertencente ao modo literário fantástico. Para cumprir com este objetivo, o trabalho está organizado da seguinte maneira: primeiramente, apresenta-se uma breve introdução demonstrando o tipo de relação que Tarchetti mantém com a influência fantástica e quais os autores vinculados a este modo literário lhe inspiraram a escrever sob esta orientação literária. Além disso, levando-se em consideração que, na Itália, o fantástico não era considerado um modo literário, uma vez que seu status estava associado a uma produção de natureza inferior se comparado à alta literatura, discute-se o modo como Tarchetti se relacionava com o movimento literário vigente na época, a saber, o Romantismo. Para que se tenha uma melhor compreensão a respeito do trabalho do autor a fim de que seja possível analisar os contos selecionados para este trabalho, será realizada uma contextualização não só do período em que está situado, a partir das perspectivas social e literária, como também, uma breve exposição acerca do movimento ao qual Tarchetti estava vinculado – A Scapigliatura – e o trabalho por ele desenvolvido. A análise dos contos escolhidos será a parte final do trabalho, a qual serão aplicados os aspectos desenvolvidos anteriormente no trabalho, com o intuito de demonstrar a importância de Ugo Tarchetti para a literatura italiana.

ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to analyze three short stories in Racconti fantastici work, 1869, the Italian Igino Ugo Tarchetti: I fatali, Un osso di morto and Uno Spirito in un lampone. This choice is justified because it is important stories in the literary production of the author, in which they identify fantastic elements in their texts - the otherworld , the stranger and the double , for example - , fundamental to consider Tarchetti an author belonging to the fantastic literary mode. To meet this goal, the paper is organized as follows: first, we present a brief introduction showing the kind of relationship that Tarchetti has with fantastic influence and which the authors linked to this literary mode inspired him to write under this guidance literary. Moreover, taking into consideration that in Italy, the fantastic was not considered a literary way, since their status was associated with a production lower nature compared to high literature, it discusses how Tarchetti was related with the current literary movement at the time, namely Romanticism. To have a better understanding about the author's work so that you can analyze the selected stories for this work, contextualization will be held not only in the period in which it is situated, from the social and literary perspectives, as well as , a brief statement about the movement which was bound Tarchetti - the Scapigliatura - and the work he developed. The analysis of selected stories will be the final part of the work, which will be applied aspects previously developed at work, in order to demonstrate the importance of Ugo Tarchetti to Italian literature.
