| Resumo |
O presente trabalho desenvolve uma leitura do romance brasileiro Lavoura Arcaica de Raduan Nassar (1975), a partir do filme LavourArcaica de Luiz Fernando Carvalho (2001). A análise do filme é feita por meio da noção do corpo como lócus conceitual e da noção de projeção identificação (MORIN, 1997). Acreditamos que Luiz Fernando Carvalho fez uma leitura tímica da literatura, colocando o filme num nível fundamental de leitura. Ainda para o estudo do romance, a metodologia utilizada é a semiótica de linha francesa (semiótica das paixões) e a psicanálise, principalmente, de base freudiana e lacaniana, estruturadas no trabalho de Waldir Beividas. Dentro do trabalho de Beividas, levamos em consideração o conceito de isotopia do desejo. Acreditamos que desejo fundamenta a literatura de Nassar, mas o desejo, aqui, não se refere apenas ao incesto entre os irmãos; é algo que permeia a linguagem e revela outras paixões.

ABSTRACT
The proposal of this work is to develop a study of the romance To the left of the father, by Raduan Nassar (1975), from the movie To the left of the father, by Luiz Fernando Carvalho (2001). To the analysis of the film we use the notion of the body as a conceptual locus and the notion of projection identification (MORIN, 1997). We believe that Luiz Fernando Carvalho made a thymic construction of the novel. To do this research we use some concepts that French semiotics (semiotics of passions) and psychoanalysis, especially Freudian and Lacanian psychoanalysis-based, structured on work by Waldir Beividas. In the Beividas work, we take into consideration the concept of route of desire. We believe that the desire builds the romance and this is not only because the incest between the brothers, but is in the language present in the text and reveals other passions.
