| Resumo |
Tutaméia é formado por quatro prefácios e quarenta contos caracterizados pelo sintetismo e complexidade temática, nos quais a poesia se faz presente. Tal elaboração temática mostra-se em enredos aparentemente simples, os quais retratam cenas cotidianas, vividas por homens comuns, capazes de ver o mundo sob outra perspectiva, cuja aparente ignorância oculta profunda sabedoria.
A linguagem é a base que sustenta esse universo. Guimarães faz renascer termos, cria vocábulos, universaliza regionalismos. A palavra é devolvida ao estado de pureza original e enriquecida por uma imensa energia criadora, capaz de renovar o mundo e cicatrizar o sofrimento, incorporando a poesia no cotidiano. Essa mesma linguagem tece uma rede de imagens e símbolos que representam, simultaneamente, o individual e o coletivo, além de ampliar o sentido. Desse trabalho nasce Tutaméia, trama perfeita, na qual os contos estabelecem ligações entre si, ecoando uns sobre os outros, sem perder, entretanto, a individualidade.
Diante de uma obra cuidadosamente arquitetada, o principal objetivo deste trabalho é entender como o símbolo, a imagem e outros elementos compõem o tecido desse livro, a função e o papel que desempenham, como se relacionam com os personagens e estabelecem elos entre os contos.

Abstract
Tutaméia has four prefaces and forty tales characterized by synthesism and thematic complexity, in which poetry is present. This theme shows in preparation apparently simple plots , which depict everyday scenes , experienced by ordinary men , able to see the world from another perspective , whose the apparent ignorance hides deep wisdom .
Language is the foundation that sustains this universe. Guimarães revives terms, creates vocabulary, universalizes regionalisms. The word is returned to the original state of purity and enriched by an immense creative energy, capable of renewing the world and heal the suffering, incorporating poetry in everyday life. This same language weaves a web of images and symbols that represent both individual and collective, and extend the meaning. From this work was born Tutaméia , a perfect weft wherein tales establish connections together echoing over each other without losing however individuality .
Faced with a carefully orchestrated work , the main goal of this work is to understand how the symbol , image and other elements make up the fabric of this book , the function and the role they play , how they relate to the characters and establish links amoong the tales .
