| Resumo |
RESUMO
A adolescência, culturalmente construída, ocorre de forma simultânea à puberdade, período marcado pela intensa mudança física e psicológica. É na adolescência que a pessoa está mais sensível e atenta para o modo como os outros julgam sua imagem corporal e esses julgamentos podem interferir diretamente na construção de sua autoestima. Para adolescentes negros, ainda há a somatória da questão racial. Assim, além de ter a autoestima influenciada pelas mudanças hormonais e emocionais, adolescentes negros podem ter sua autoimagem fragilizada pelas situações de racismo vivenciadas na infância e perpetuadas na adolescência. Realizando um recorte ainda mais específico, podemos dizer que as questões de gênero também são fatores importantes que influenciam na autoestima e imagem corporal de adolescentes do sexo feminino, uma vez que há um padrão de beleza estabelecido na sociedade brasileira e uma hiperssexualização do corpo da mulher negra. Compreendendo que adolescentes negras trazem em seus corpos marcas da intersecção das opressões de gênero, raça e classe, questionamos: Qual a imagem corporal que as adolescentes negras tem de si? Como está estruturada a autoestima da adolescente negra periférica atualmente? O racismo afeta as vivências afetivo-sexuais dessas adolescentes negras? Se sim, de que modo? E desses questionamentos surgiu a hipótese de que o racismo afeta o desenvolvimento afetivo-sexual de adolescentes negras em contexto de vivência periférica. Durante o percurso dessa pesquisa, ouvimos as histórias de vida de seis adolescentes negras moradoras do distrito do Grajaú e investigamos se, e como, o racismo afeta o desenvolvimento afetivo-sexual de cada uma dessas meninas.

ABSTRACT
Adolescence, culturally built, happens simultaneously with puberty, a period marked for an intense physical and phychological changes. It is in adolescence that the person is more sensitive and attentive how the others judge your body image and this judgements can directly interfere in your self-esteem building. For black tennagers, still exist the sum of racial question. Thus, in addition to having self-esteem influenced by emotional and hormonal changes, black tennagers can have their self-image weaked by racism situations experienced in childhood and perpetuated in adolescence. Realizing a even more specific cut, we can say that gender questions are also important factors whom influence in self-esteem and body-image in female tennagers, once there is a beauty pattern established in brazilian society and a hypersenxualization of black woman body. Understanding that black adolescents bring in their bodies marks of the intersection of gender, race and class oppressions, we ask: What is the body image that black adolescents have of themselves? How is the peripheral black adolescent self-esteem structured today? Does racism affect the affective-sexual experiences of these black adolescents? If yes, in what way? And from these questions came the hypothesis that racism affects the affective-sexual development of black adolescents in the context of peripheral living. During the course of this research, we listen to the life stories of six black teenagers living in the Grajaú district and investigate whether, and how, racism affects the affective-sexual development of each of these girls.
