RESUMO
Ao longo da história ocorreram diversas transformações ideológicas, sociais e históricas que influenciaram o conceito atual de família. A sociedade brasileira ainda é muito conservadora, perpetuando a valorização de valores e ideais ligados a velhos regimes e à religião, o que dificulta o desenvolvimento de uma mentalidade mais aberta diante à diversidade popular. A configuração do mundo atual é marcada pela multipolaridade ideológica e saber conviver com a diferença é um grande desafio para a sociedade, pois a formação sociocultural do país influencia na maneira como as pessoas constroem os valores sociais. . Em um ambiente de sociabilidade entre as crianças, acarretou na difusão sócio-cultural, incluiu as relações de gênero relacionadas à forma como as pessoas concebem os diferentes papéis sociais e comportamentais relacionados aos homens e às mulheres, estabelecendo padrões fixos daquilo que é “próprio” para o feminino bem como para o masculino, de forma a reproduzir regras como se fosse um comportamento natural do ser humano. Nesse sentido, a escola teve, tem e terá um papel fundamental na desmistificação destas diferenças, além de ser um importante instrumento na construção de valores e atitudes, que permitam um olhar mais crítico e reflexivo sobre as identidades de gênero, ao invés de ser um lugar de práticas de desigualdades e de produção de preconceitos e discriminações

ABSTRACT
Throughout history there have been several ideological, social and historical transformations that have influenced the current concept of the family. Brazilian society is still very conservative, perpetuating the valorization of values and ideals linked to old regimes and religion, which hampers the development of a more open mentality in the face of popular diversity. The configuration of the world today is marked by ideological multipolarity and knowing how to live with difference is a great challenge for society, because the socio-cultural formation of the country influences how people construct social values. . In an environment of sociability among children, it brought about socio-cultural diffusion, including gender relations related to the way people conceive the different social and behavioral roles related to men and women, establishing fixed patterns of what is "proper" for the feminine as well as the masculine, in order to reproduce rules as if it were a natural behavior of the human being. In this sense, the school had, has and will play a fundamental role in the demystification of these differences, as well as being an important tool in the construction of values and attitudes that allow a more critical and reflexive look at gender identities, rather than being a place of practices of inequalities and the production of prejudices and discriminations.
