RESUMO
Aborda a temática da educação sexual e suas entrelinhas, tendo como objetivo investigar a visão de gestores de escolas municipais acerca da mesma. Discorre sobre o termo sexualidade, entendendo como ele é tratado. Trata a educação sexual sob diversos enfoques, falando sobre suas definições e papéis, à luz dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais. Enfatiza o papel das escolas na educação sexual e as dificuldades encontradas para empregar tal atividade. Discute o papel dos gestores das escolas, permeando suas funções desempenhadas na gestão escolar, correlacionando-as à educação sexual. Esclarece os procedimentos metodológicos que caracterizam a pesquisa deste trabalho. Apresenta os resultados obtidos com a pesquisa qualitativa realizada com gestores de escolas municipais, abordando a educação sexual. Analisa o material obtido por meio da pesquisa deste trabalho, lançando uma visão crítica acerca dos resultados e do tratamento ideal para a educação sexual no ambiente escolar. Reflete sobre a problemática da educação sexual no ambiente escolar de maneira ampla, enfatizando sua relevância social. Conclui apresentando a opinião da autora acerca do trabalho de educação sexual.

ABSTRACT
Addresses the issue of sex education and their lines, with the objective of investigate the vision of municipal schools managers about the same. Discusses the term sexuality, understanding how it is handled. Shows the sex education under different approaches, talking about its settings and roles in the light of the National Curriculum Guidelines. Emphasizes the role of schools in sex education and the difficulties encountered in employing such activity. Discusses the managers of schools’ function, permeating their work in school management, correlating it with the sex education. Clarifies the methodological procedures that characterize the research of this work. It presents the results of a qualitative survey of managers of municipal schools, addressing sexual education. Analyzes the material obtained through research of this work, casting a critical vision on the results and the ideal treatment for sex education in the school environment. Reflects on the issue of sex education in the school environment broadly, emphasizing its social relevance. Concludes with the author's opinions about sexual education work.
